Chris Hinton from Watford was one of a number of family members who took part in the annual Clay Pigeon Shoot in memory of his niece, Alison Phelan, who died of a brain tumour in 2001 just weeks away from her eighth birthday.
The event, held on Sunday, April 28, raised £2,258 for charity Ali’s Dream.
The funds will go towards paying for research at the Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence at the University of Portsmouth, and get research another step closer to finding a cure for the disease.
If you wish to join in future events, make a donation or add your support in any way, please contact Julie Phelan, Ali’s Dream, 30 Hermitage Way, Stanmore, Middx HA7 2AY or Tel: 0208 863 606. Please make cheques payable to Ali’s Dream.
