For what is believed to be the first time in the 100-year history of the Hertfordshire Show, a Prime Minister in office has accepted an invitation to be the guest of the show’s president Lord Cobbold.
Mr Edward Heath has accepted an invitation to attend the show and is expected to present long service awards to ten farm workers with more than 300 years’ service to agriculture between them.
