A parish council has elected a new councillor.

During the full council meeting at Aldenham Parish Council, Jacqueline Lefton was formally co-opted onto the council.

She will take on the role previously held by Caroline Clapper, who resigned.

Mrs Lefton will sign her formal declaration of office at the full council meeting on the May 27.
