Part of a new ITV drama series will be filmed in a Chipperfield pub later this month.
Grantchester, which is set to be aired this autumn on ITV, will be filmed at The Windmill, The Common, on 27, 28 and 29 May.
The six-part series will be based on "Sidney Chambers and the Shadow of Death" by James Runice and will focus on the life of Sidney Chambers, a clergyman who becomes an investigative vicar after one of his parishioners dies in suspicious circumstances.
Dave Clark, landlord at The Windmill is pleased that the pub has been chosen as part of the set for the upcoming series.
He said: "I think they like the traditional feel of the pub. The location manager was looking round the area and saw this pub, liked the outside of it and decided to come in.
"They liked it and decided it was what they were looking for. So I am happy to accommodate them."
The show is being produced by Lovely Day, a sister company of Kudos.
The show is set in 1953 Cambridgeshire and the majority of the filming will take place in Grantchester, Cambridgeshire.
