The Peace Hospice has been given a £700 cash boost after a fundraising quiz hosted by a legendary international blind footballer.
Regional law firm Pictons triumphed on the night in the event organised by Clydesdale Bank.
The Pictons Pedigrees, which was captained by chairman Jacqueline Webb, and included Michael Rees, a conveyancing specialist, Tony Roberts, head of corporate, Julian Ireland, commercial litigator and Danielle Messenger, a family law associate.
Jacqueline said: "As a firm we support many charities and community projects across Herts, Beds and Bucks, where our four offices are based.
"The Peace Hospice does such amazing work in the community and the quiz was an excellent initiative by Clydesdale Bank to encourage companies to get involved and raise funds for such an important cause."
The company quiz was hosted by David Clarke, legendary international blind footballer who is also Head of Clydesdale's Business and Private Banking Centre in St Albans.
