Primary pupil Kai Tunstall, 10, has earned a black belt in Freestyle Martial Arts.

The Watford Fields pupil was presented with the ultimate achievement in the sport by his coach Chris Bartlett of the 21st Century Martial Arts Club.

Kai has been training in the sport for just three and a half years, but Chris said his commitment has taken the youngster to the highest level.

He said: "He will definitely go further in the sport. He’s our youngest member with a black belt. I just really wanted to highlight Kai’s commitment to the sport."
