Police are searching for a man with “distinctive bad teeth” after a woman was allegedly seriously sexually assaulted in Watford at the weekend.

Hertfordshire Constabulary said the alleged incident happened to a 20-year-old woman at a rave in Otterspool Way, Watford, between 2am and 3am on Sunday .

Detectives are keen to trace a slim muscular white man who is around, 5ft 9 aged between 24 and 26, with short dark hair.

He was also described as having distinctive bad teeth and said he was called Scott. At the time he was wearing a plain white baseball cap, tight-fitted black or navy vest top and beige combats.

Temporary Detective Inspector Dee Perkins from the Sexual Offences Investigation Team said: “We are trying to piece together exactly what happened between 2am and 3am on Sunday morning.

“The woman is being given support by specially trained officers.”

“We would like to hear from anyone who thinks they recognise the description of the man, who said his name was Scott, to come forward so we can speak to him.”
