Five people from Watford, Bushey, and Essex have been arrested following a series of raids targeting brand counterfeiting.
Officers from Hertfordshire and Essex police, executed six warrants this morning, leading to the arrest of four men and a woman on suspicion of breaching trademark offences and money laundering.
The warrants were also conducted in with experts including Adidas, Nike, Superdry, Ralph Lauren and Under Armour as well as the intellectual property office.
Warrants were executed in Greatham Road, Bushey, Elstree, Borehamwood, Billericay, and Watford.
Those arrested include a 28-year-old man from Watford, a 47-year-old man from Elstree, a 41-year-old man from Bushey, a 41-year-old man from Borehamwood, and a 43-year-old woman from Billericay.
All five suspects are currently in police custody and will be questioned by detectives.
