Voters are heading to polling stations across Three Rivers this morning to submit their ballot papers in this year’s all-out district elections.
The re-drawing of the ward boundaries will see candidates battling for all 39 seats on the council.
The number of seats in the district will reduce by nine after these elections.
Today’s elections could see the Liberal Democrat’s control over the council decline, if not diminish completely, if strong opposition is put forward by challenging groups, the Conservatives, Labour, UKIP and the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition.

Polling stations open at 7am and close at 10pm.
