Everything you need to know about voting in Three Rivers today

Watford Observer: Everything you need to know about voting in Three Rivers today Everything you need to know about voting in Three Rivers today

Voters are heading to polling stations across Three Rivers this morning to submit their ballot papers in this year’s all-out district elections.

The re-drawing of the ward boundaries will see candidates battling for all 39 seats on the council.
The number of seats in the district will reduce by nine after these elections.

Today’s elections could see the Liberal Democrat’s control over the council decline, if not diminish completely, if strong opposition is put forward by challenging groups, the Conservatives, Labour, UKIP and the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition.

Polling stations open at 7am and close at 10pm.

What we don't know is how much councillors like Sara Bedford earn from all their allowances and expenses from being a councillor on multiple councils.

Come on Sara, how about a little openness?

It can't be much in the general scheme of things can it, I mean your LibDem run council wasted millions didn't it over the William Penn refurbishment fiasco?

We don't know who decided to cover this up and who voted for the cover-up. Who was it?

Let's have open and honest government. Let's tell the people the truth over these things. Let's start with you telling us how much you earn.

We pay your wages sara, through our taxes. I think we should be told. I would have no hesitation whatsoever if I were in your position, so why not tell us?Once and for all?

Go away, Three Rivers is nothing to do with you and your disrespectful flouting of voting silence.

TRDC cllrs receive an annual ITC allowance

In addition to the above Members’ Allowances, Councillors receive a payment for contributing towards the
cost of ICT for carrying out their duties. Councillors that use their own computer receive £370 per annum.
All Councillors can receive a payment of £100 for stationery.

HCC cllrs are bought their computer which HCC rkeep ownership of and when retiring cllrs have the chance to purchase it.

Have cllrs who served on both councils claimed twice?

How can you be so vindictive and personal on today of all days? You'll probably lose votes for this - not very good planning if you want to become Mayor.
I know William Penn was a right c**k up by the LibDems but do you have to keep resurrecting it, for no apparent reason, and, as someone else said, why do you, as WATFORD Mayoral candidate, need to get involved? Don't give me that old "free speech" argument either - we're fed up of seeing your name and comments on every other posting on this site, it does get very boring you know!
