The saga of a former Victorian primary school building in Croxley Green, which was partly demolished in 2011, has come to an end as renovation work is completed on the historical site.
Last year, residents and councillors supported plans which would save the remains of the former Yorke Road School building and see it be turned into homes.
On Thursday, people gathered at the site to welcome the new buildings, which have incorporated the historic ones.
