A banking chain is holding an event in Bushey to raise money for charity.
The Halifax Big Lunch will take place next month at Queens’ School on Aldenham Road.
The Big Lunch is a one-day get-together for neighbours, an idea from the Eden Project made possible by the Big Lottery Fund. It encourages people across the UK to meet up for a few hours of food, friendship and fun.
Halifax colleagues hope to fundraise for four charities supported by their branches across Northwest London including the Watford Shelter.
The lunch will take place on Sunday, June 1 from 12pm until 4pm at Queens’ School. To plan your own lunch visit: www.thebiglunch.com.
