A man was taken to hospital at the weekend after becoming impaled on an iron railing in Bushey Heath.
Emergency services were called to Warren Road at 5.15am on Sunday.
Two fire crews from Watford assisted with free the man with cutting gear, and then administered oxygen therapy and first aid.
The man was taken to Watford General Hospital. There was a similar incident last month, where a woman had to be cut free from a fence in Watford.
