Parmiter's School parents' association recognised as best in South East
A Watford parents association has been named best in the south of England and won £500 in a national competition.
Parmiter's Parents’ Association topped the region in the Parent Partnership category of the PTA-UK Gold Star Awards 2014 and will go on to the competition’s UK finals.
Alison Allen, PTA-UK adviser, said: "The standard of entries was very high this year and PTA-UK commends all the applications received.
To make it through to the national finals as one of five regional winners in the Parent Partnership category is an amazing feat and we wish Parmiters School the very best of luck as they now go through to the final judging stage."
