Intu Watford is throwing a party to celebrate the start of summer this weekend.

On offer will be live music, tasty treats, family fun and performing arts at the free intu Watford Summer Party.

From performances by boy band Concept and teen star finalist Mossy McKenna to food sampling by Pizza Express, Hotel Chocolat, Waitrose and Tortilla, there’ll be two jam-packed days of free fun.

Local students from West Herts College and The Pump House have also been invited to showcase their talent as intu Watford brings the community together for one special weekend.

Leigh Brookes, intu Watford’s marketing manager, said: "With the start of summer just around the corner, this event will be a celebration of community, family fun and food.

"We have lots of little surprises planned for our shoppers too, to keep them smiling all weekend long."

The intu Watford Summer Party will take place between 11am and 5pm on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8.

Entertainment will be available right across the centre and entry is free.
