Girls are gathering for Peace Hospice Care’s biggest fundraising event of the year - but more fundraising females are needed to step up to the mark  for this year’s Starlight Walk on Saturday, June 21.

Although numbers for the event are swelling, Peace Hospice Care is urging even more women to sign up for the event.

Along the route there will be entertainment, refreshments, the support of Watford Firefighters and members of the community cheering their loved ones and friends on.

Imagine Estate & Letting Agents, who are sponsoring the Starlight Walk for fifth year running has  been encouraging staff to get involved.

This year they have a 30-strong team of staff from their branches in Watford, Bushey and St Albans who are keen to take part in the Starlight Walk.

The estate and letting agents team has already raised £15,000 for Peace Hospice Care but is determined to push ahead and increase their charity fundraising figures.

Peace Hospice Care events manager Pete Watson is urging more women to sign up.

People walking in memory of a friend or family member can add their name to an online "In Memory" board on the Peace Hospice Care website.  All names will be displayed in Watford Colosseum before the walk  begins.
