A somnambulist at Berkhamsted had an unpleasant experience a few days ago.
At an early hour in the morning he was found walking along the High Street bare-footed and clad only in a slumber suit.
A friendly policeman escorted him to a hotel, where he was put to bed and made comfortable. But it was not the hotel at which he was staying and when he awoke, a messenger had to be dispatched to the other hotel to fetch his clothing.
The experience does not fall to many men of going to sleep in one hotel and waking up the next morning in another.
