Try your hand at mechanics, plumbing, carpentry, bricklaying and much more at the fourth annual Watford Jobs Fair.

The free event will take place next Thursday, June 26, between 10am and 4pm at the Langley Banqueting Suites on Watford High Street.

Those attending will be offered one to one CV advice sessions available, seminars held throughout the day and the chance to try out new skills and career paths.

The fair, delivered with Jobcentre Plus and West Herts College, will also feature around 65 employers available wanting to speak to local jobseekers, or those considering a career change.

Vacancies on offer range from design managers and planners, to care workers, drivers, receptionists, nursery nurses, cashiers, store managers and quantity surveyors.

This year there are a range of employers who have never before exhibited at the Jobs Fair, with new opportunities from companies including Next, Disney, UPS, Boys & Girls Nursery, David Lloyd, The JPM Group, Travis Perkins, KPMG and Baskin Robbins.

Other employers exhibiting on the day include Warner Brothers, Camelot, BrightHouse, Hilton Worldwide, Vinci and Fantasia Studios.
