The emergency services were called in the early hours of this morning to a car fire near a school in North Watford.

Hertfordshire Constabulary and a fire crew from Garston were called just after 3am to Berry Avenue, near to the Cherry Tree School.

The police believe the black Toyota Hilux was involved in an earlier collision in London.

Fire crews used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is not known.
