Police are appealing for information after a "large quantity" of cigarettes were stolen in Rickmansworth.
Four men forced their way into Costcutter in Moneyhill Parade at 2.05am on Monday, June 16.
The men then left the scene in a red Fiesta or similar Ford car, which was said to have a noisy exhaust, towards Maple Cross, along Uxbridge Road.
Detective Sergeant Andy Wiseman, from the local crime unit at Rickmansworth police station, said: "Whilst the burglary occurred in the early hours, I’m appealing for people to contact police if they witnessed anything suspicious that night. It may be that you saw or heard the noisy vehicle making off, or can help identify this vehicle.
"I’d urge anyone with information, however small, to contact police immediately."
Anyone with information is asked to contact the local crime unit via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C2/14/1221. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
