A young woman arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice following an allegation of rape in central Watford has been bailed.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said the 19-year-old, who was arrested in London on Wednesday, is due to report back to police in September.
The arrest comes after a man was questioned following an allegation of a rape in a park off St John’s Road, Watford, in December.
No action was taken against the man.
