A South Oxhey man has been charged with theft after meat was taken from an Abbots Langley store last week.
Hertfordshire Constabulary arrested Steven Hardwick at his Otley Way home at 6.40am today.
The 46-year-old was charged with theft after meat was stolen from Budgens, in High Street.
The theft took place between 1.05pm and 1.15pm on Thursday.
Mr Hardwick has been released on bail and is due to appear at Central Hertfordshire Magistrates Court on July 15.
