There was a carnival theme to the annual Cassiobury Schools Summer fair this year.
The day was a resounding success and raised more than £4,500 which will be used to buy laptops and play equipment for the Cassiobury Nursery, Infant and Junior Schools.
The schools’ field in Bellmountwood Avenue were filled with stalls for the event on Saturday, June 21, including a beat the goalie competition, bungee trampolining, face painting, tombola and raffle.
The highlight of the say was a special guest appearance from Nomakhosi from TV programme The Voice who sang for the crowds.
