The local government ombudsman has dismissed a complaint regarding the council's consultation and decision-making processes on a draft planning brief for the Bhaktivedanta Manor site in Aldenham.

The Ombudsman investigated a complaint from a nearby resident that the council had failed to consult properly on a draft planning brief for the site, which is a centre for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

Alongside this complaint, the Ombudsman also investigated whether the council had considered all available evidence when it decided to adopt the planning brief in December 2012.

The Ombudsman, reporting at the end of March 2014, found no fault on the part of the council in relation to either complaint.
