A four-year-old boy has been rescued by firefighters after his finger was trapped in a metal fence in Maple Cross this afternoon.

A fire engine from Rickmansworth was called to Denham Way shortly after 12pm.

The crew helped release the boy, who was then taken to hospital at around 1.30pm.
