A South Oxhey man has denied stealing meat from an Abbots Langley store.
Steven Hardwick denied the theft charges when he appeared at St Albans Magistrates' Court today.
The 46-year-old was arrested at his Otley Way home at 6.40am on Tuesday, July 1 after meat was stolen from Budgens, in Abbots Langley High Street, on Thursday, June 26.
He has been released on bail on the condition that he does not enter the High Street.
He is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on September 4.
