A ladies pamper evening at Watersmeet in Rickmansworth has raised almost £2,000 for Hospice Aid UK.
A wide range of professionals including beauticians, nail technicians, health coaches and personal trainers offered free 15 minute treatments, while a selection of stalls, raffle and refreshments were enjoyed by guests from around Watford and Three Rivers as well as local beauty queen Miss Hertfordshire.
Proceeds from the evening have been donated to Hospice Aid UK, which is currently raising emergency funds for two children's hospices.
One is hoping to stage a summer music festival for the teenagers who are being treated at the hospice.
The other needs to buy a specialist bed for a terminally ill little boy who is coming to spend six months with them.
