Police have released a picture of an expensive mountain bike after it was stolen from a home in West Watford.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said the black Carrera Vulcan 7005 was taken from the hallway of a property in Hagden Lane at around 3pm on June 13.
The victim, a man who had been carrying out work at the house, left his bike unattended in the hallway with the door open for just a couple of minutes.
The bike has a 20 inch large frame, Maxxis rear tyre, gel seat, straight handlebar, rear neon light and rear mudguard.
When stolen the bike had had a Kevlar bike lock locked to the upright of the bike frame, and a second bike lock around the saddle stem.
Anyone with information should contact Assistant Investigator Elaine Counsell on 01923 472939 or the Herts police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number C1/14/2957.
