Three Rivers will be ramping up the fun this summer as plans are rolled out for the 8th annual Skate and BMX Jams next month.

The friendly competitions will be held in Croxley Skate Park, in Baldwins Lane, from August 1 to August 3.

Prizes will be awarded to winners in a range of categories and age groups, including best trick, mini ramp and whole park. 

A beginner’s competition will be held on Friday, August 1 from 10am until 4pm. 

There will also be a skateboard art workshop running throughout the day provided by FooARage Skateboard Company.

The inline and scooter competitions will take place on Saturday, August 2 from 10am until 6pm.
BMX and skateboard competitions are on Sunday, August 3 from 10am until 6pm.

There will be a tie-dye workshop running on the Saturday and Sunday as well as the return of the highly enjoyable stunt airbag provided by AirBag.net.

The competitions are free to enter but all under 18’s must wear helmets. The Jam is open to everyone aged eight years and over.

Youth Connexions and Hertfordshire Constabulary will also be at the event to offer advice and workshops on healthy living and personal safety.
