A man in his twenties was taken to hospital after a fight outside a house-party in Abbots Langley.
Hertfordshire Constabulary were called to Summerhouse Way after a man got in an altercation with a group of men outside a house in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Watford General Hospital with cuts to the top of his head after an unknown object was thrown at him, but he was later discharged.
Everyone involved in the incident was at the party. Six police cars attended the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to make contact with PC Ben Harvey via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, citing crime reference C2/14/1523. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
