A Bovingdon based tearoom will be hosting an open air cinema event at Bovingdon Airfield next month.

Villagers will have the chance to watch Top Gun at Bovingdon Airfield on Sunday, August 31, as Stanleys Store host the first open air cinema event at the airfield.

Beach volleyball lessons and karaoke are also available for residents to take part in.

People will also have the opportunity to, in an American style option, watch the film in their own car.

Would it not be better to show one of the many British films that was actually made there?
