GPs came together in Watford's new Parade to carry out over 100 mini-health checks, including on the town's elected mayor Dorothy Thornhill.
Soaring temperatures saw Mayor Dorothy Thornhill join members of the public to have their height, weight and blood pressure checked by GPs including Dr Sara Khan, chair of the Watford and Three Rivers locality of Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group.
The health checks were carried out as part of The Watford Big Family Sports Day on Saturday.
Along with the mini-health checks the team held lots of conversations with visitors providing a great opportunity for doctors to talk to people about some small changes they can make that could lead to a big improvement in their health.
