Hundreds more flowers and tributes line the road where six-year-old Lara Fernandes-Pontes died after a car accident last Sunday.
The death of little Lara, who passed away after the incident, which involved a Land Rover Discovery in Hayling Road, has left many in South Oxhey grief-stricken.
Last week’s substantial collection of floral tributes has grown in size as friends, family and even strangers bring gifts to the site where the fatal accident happened.
Every available space lining the pavement is now adorned with flowers, teddy bears, cards, balloons, Portuguese flags and children’s wind spinners.
Pictures of Lara accompany the children’s toys that scale up the telephone pole and candles still line the pavement.
Hertfordshire Constabulary is still investigating the incident.
