Organisers of the Chorleywood Classic Car Show were delighted with the "fantastic array of rare and exotic" cars on show on Saturday.

Hundreds of classic and exotic cars were on show at The Common on Saturday afternoon and included Ferraris, Lamborghinis and a D-Type racing Jaguar that had previously raced around Silverstone.

The event, which was held for the third time on Saturday, aimed to attract "beautiful cars" that are "tucked away in garages" all over the area.

Guy Davies, who organised the event, said: "It went really well.

"We had the most fantastic array of rare and exotic cars.

"It was a very busy day, we have grown year on year on year, we had 80 cars attend in the first year, 120 cars last year and this year we had more than 200 cars.

"It is fantastic, at the end of the day, it is a community event and it gets great support."
