Leavesden Country Park given prestigious Green Flag award
Leavesden Country Park has been awarded the highest possible accolade for a park after receiving the prestigious Green Flag award.
The park was awarded the honour for the first time in 2010 and rewards parks for good maintenance, cleanliness, safety and security, and whether they are considered welcoming to visitors.
Leavesden Country Park is one of 1,470 parks and green spaces that were awarded the flag, which the organisers, Keep Britain Tidy, claim is a record.
