More than £800,000 is being invested in Watford allotments, with improvement works starting this week.
The works at ten sites across the town include new toilets, new fencing and gates, and additional improvements to water supplies, signage, noticeboards, footpaths and site access.
The council has written to the allotment tenants explaining how they may be affected by the investment programme, which will run until December.
The sites are at Paddock Road, Oxhey Grange, Brightwell, Holywell, Chester Road, Timberlake, Tavistock Road, Callowland, Briar Road and Garston Manor.
All tenants were then able to provide feedback on the final improvement proposals.
