Police have released an E-fit image of a person they would like to speak with in connection with an aggravated burglary in South Oxhey.

The incident occurred between 1pm and 1.25pm on Monday, June 16, when two offenders went into a property in Prestwick Road and searched a number of rooms.

A woman in her 80s was at home at the time and they threatened her with a screwdriver before making off with a number of items of jewellery.

The first suspect is described as a black man aged in his 20s who was around 5ft 4in tall. He was of a slim build and clean shaven.

The second suspect (shown in the image) is described as a white man aged in his 20s who was around 5ft 4ins tall. He was of a slim build and clean shaven.

Officers are keen to identify the man shown in the e-fit and would urge anyone who has any information on a possible identity to contact them.

Assistant investigator Kevin Deudon said: "Thankfully the victim was not injured but as you can imagine she has been left extremely shaken by what has happened. I would urge anyone who recognises the man in this e-fit to contact police without delay."
