Nine men were arrested after properties in South Oxhey and Watford were raided by officers at dawn this morning for drug-related offences.

Officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary stormed eleven properties simultaneously at about 6am.

Nine South Oxhey properties and two Watford addresses were targeted as part of Operation Scorpion.

The following arrest were made:

•    Jason Hallidey, 44, of Preswick Road in South Oxhey was charged with supply of a class A drug and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
•    A 34-year-old man from Bushey Health was arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs. 
•    A 28-year-old man from South Oxhey was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
•    A 41-year-old man from South Oxhey was arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs. 
•    A 20-year-old man from South Oxhey was arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs. 
•    A 25-yearold man from Watford was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
•    A 43-year-old man from Watford was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
•    A 23-year-old man from South Oxhey was arrested on suspicion of supplying of class A drugs.
•    A 22-year-old man from South Oxhey was arrested on suspicion of supplying of class A drugs.

Deirdre Dent, Chief Inspector for Three Rivers, said: "These warrants were intelligence led and executed at the homes of people who are suspected of being involved in the supply of drugs. 

"We’re working to ensure that drug related crime remains low across Three Rivers. If you have suspicions about drug related activity in your neighbourhood, please let us know so we can investigate and take action where appropriate."
