Police have recovered jewellery they believe to have been stolen during a burglary in Watford.

Hertfordshire Constabulary discovered the valuables in a house in Hayes on July 25 after a warrant was carried out at the address.

Dectective have asked recent burglary victims, particularly in the Watford area to view the items and contact officers if they recognise any of them.

Along with jewellery, officers are trying to trace the rightful owners of an iPod classic in black 160GB serial 8K1233ZC9ZU, an iPod classic in black 160GB serial 2Z0090V99ZU and Cannon camera lxu5115 serial 213010002952.

Detective Constable Solomon Beere said: "We have been making attempts to trace possible victims and reunite them with their stolen property; however we have some items outstanding.

"I would ask anyone who has been the victim of a burglary in recent months, particularly in the Watford area, to view the photos and if they do recognise anything contact me."
