An Abbots Langley church will be hosting the "Great Parish Bake-off" as part of its fun day this weekend.
On Saturday, St Lawrence Church, in the High Street, will be hosting its annual fun day and this year’s event will be headlined by a home-made cake competition.
Villagers are being encouraged to "be creative" as there are no restrictions on the designs of the cakes and bonus points are being awarded if bakers can reference St Lawrence, the church or any aspect of Abbots Langley.
Residents will also be able to enjoy bouncy castles, face-painting and games as the fun-day begins at 11am.
Judging will begin at 2pm, with the winner being announced at 3pm. The cakes will then be available for the public to buy, with all the money going towards the church’s funds.
