A Watford man has been charged following the Operation Elveden investigation into allegations of corrupt payments to public officials.
Journalist Anthony France, 41, faces two charges of conspiring together with others to commit misconduct in public office.
The crime reporter for The Sun newspaper was arrested by Operation Elveden officers in January for the alleged offences between March 31, 2008, and July 1, 2011, and July 19, 2009, and August 14, 2009.
He has been bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on August 21.
