A man from Kings Langley has died after falling from his bike in north Watford yesterday.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said that the cyclist had been riding along the footpath on the A41 North Western Avenue, near the A411 Hempstead Road junction, with his dog on a lead when he went over his handlebars.
Emergency services were called at 8.45pm and the 49-year-old was taken to hospital by ambulance.
He died from his injuries earlier today.
