A woman was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries after she fell from a car on the A41 near Bushey.

Police are investigating a traffic incident after it is believed a woman fell from a car on North Western Avenue.

Hertfordshire Constabulary was called at 4.20pm on Friday to the busy main road following reports that a woman had been injured.

The woman, who was travelling in a car with a man and two children, was taken to Watford General Hospital with what are believed to be life threatening injuries.
