Floral art, photography and handicrafts will all be on show at a horticultural society’s autumn show later this month.

Chipperfield Horticultural Society will be hosting its autumn show on Saturday, September 20 at Chipperfield Village Hall, The Common.

Newly harvested flowers, fruits and vegetables will be showcased alongside floral art, photography and handicrafts at the event, which the society describes as the biggest in its year.

Pauline Williams, of Chipperfield Horticultural Society said: "Our selection of delicious homemade cakes and scones for cream teas is very popular, so why not treat yourself and come along for a great afternoon in a lovely setting - we will give you a very warm welcome."

Doors open to the public at 2.30pm but exhibitors will be allowed in from 8am to set up their exhibitions and the judging will begin at 11am.

Prizes will then be presented in a number of categories and following the judging, plants will be on sale to members of the public.
