A record breaking amount of money generated by the Kings Langley Carnival will be presented at a special presentation tonight.
Cheques worth £5,500 will be distributed between 18 "local causes" at Kings Langley Cricket Club, Vicarage Lane at 7pm.
The carnival is organised by the Rotary Club of Hemel Hempstead and the Kings Langley Carnival Committee will distribute the profits raised during the carnival, which was held on the Common on Saturday, June 21.
Councillor Allan Lawson, Mayor of Dacorum and his wife, Wendy Lawson will be attending the event.
