Three men have been released on bail after a South Oxhey beauty salon was broken into yesterday morning.

A heat lamp and hundreds of pounds in cash was taken from Krisalis Beauty salon.

A 21-year-old, a 22-year-old and a 23-year-old, all from Watford, were arrested on suspicion of burglary after the Prestwick Road salon was broken into.

Hertfordshire Constabulary was called to the salon at 2.50am yesterday.

It is alleged that burglars forced open the rear shutters of the shop to gain entry.

Three men were arrested a short while later on foot on the A41, in Watford.

They have been released on bail and are due to return to Watford Police Station on October 17.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact investigating officer, PC Nicola Stewart, on 101, quoting crime reference number C3/14/973.
