Hertsmere Borough Council staff supported Cycle to Work Day yesterday.
The national day, championed by Paralympic cycling star Dame Sarah Storey, aims to encourage as many as possible to take to two wheels and cycle to their workplace.
Chief executive Donald Graham said: "I am a very keen cyclist and think it's an excellent way to stay fit, as well as being an environmentally-friendly form of travel. We were pleased to be able to pledge our support to this excellent national initiative."
