Residents are being urged to give their views on proposed changes to roads, cycle lanes and paths in West Watford.
Hertfordshire County Council is currently running a consultation on plans to introduce a northbound one-way system on Vicarage Road between Hagden Lane and Scammel Way.
Council bosses also want to install a new lay-by on Scammell Way to service the proposed new station, install a pedestrian crossing by Laurence Haines School and widen the footpath on Vicarage Road.
Residents have until Friday, September 19 to respond.
Terry Douris, cabinet member for highways, said: "The aim is to provide enhanced pedestrian and cycle links in the Vicarage Road area including Laurance Haines School as well as to support the proposed underground station scheme.
"I urge local businesses and residents who’ve not yet given us their views on the proposals to take advantage of the extended consultation period."
