A Watford banker will walk the length of Hadrian's Wall to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Victoria Zielonko, regional manager for Leeds Building Society in Watford, will walk 84 miles from Wallsend to Bowness over three days with 13 other colleagues from the building society.

The walkers, who are dressing up as Romans for the hike, hope to raise £100 for every mile they walk - £8,400 in total.

Victoria said: "Every year the society’s regional managers undertake a charity challenge to raise money for a national charity. We have all been inspired by Stephen Sutton's story this year and we want to raise as much as we can for Teenage Cancer Trust.

"All our branches, including the Watford branch, in The Parade, our joining in the fundraising effort with their own activities, and are also currently selling Teenage Cancer Trust rubber bracelets to try to increase the donations further.

"We are delighted to be over halfway to our £8,400 fundraising target. Our justgiving address for remaining donations is http://www.justgiving.com/LBShadrianswalkers."
