The annual autumn open day at New Hope’s Community Garden between 64 and 62 Rickmansworth Road, Watford, will be held between 10.30am and 3pm on Saturday, October 4.
There will be poetry reading, percussion "jamming" and children’s activities and visitors will be able to pick up plants, herbs and vegetable seedlings in return for a small donation.
Each year the garden helps support up to 60 homeless or vulnerably housed people and provides volunteering opportunities for local companies and schools.
